Listings in this section are generally offered by BarterChek affiliates in other North American Trade Exchanges, which means different barter currencies might be involved. Consequently, availability of the goods & services to BarterChek Trade members can be limited and time sensitive. GOOSE HUNTING
Boondog Outfitting, Emma Lake. Boondog Outfitting, which is based on the northern tip of the central & Mississippi flyway, has five zones to hunt. Ranging from Meadow Lake to the fringe of the Boreal forest, over the North Saskatchewan river, all the way to the South Saskatchewan river, it encompasses an area of approximately 12,000 sq. miles of hunting territory. The majority of the hunting will be in Zones 51 and 52 on the edge of the Boreal forest and near the two rivers. Maximum size of a group is six hunters. Whatever the area it will be goose country. WHITETAIL DEER HUNT
Our Guided Whitetail Deer hunting territory is prime Saskatchewan forest area; recognized as a reliable destination for trophy quality whitetail deer with both impressive racks and big bodies. Visit http://www.prairieoutdoors.com/poplarpoint/ to view images of many of the deer taken at Poplar Point Resort that have scored above 140 points;  several 160 or better. Some Whitetail Deer hunted in our Saskatchewan forest area have even scored over 200 points. The base camp is at Big River, a 2½ hour drive north of Saskatoon. Whitetail deer hunting packages start at $4,000 USD. License, taxes and travel costs to Saskatchewan and the hunt site not included in the $4,000. A Barter Reserve List, accepting a limited number of reservations at 100% Trade, is now open to requests. Hunters on the Barter Reserve List will have their status clarified by Sept. 1, 2010 for hunts starting in November. Currently, 80% of the whitetail deer tags have been allotted. There are always lower-priced hunts. If quality of service, a ‘Spoil Me’ mentality and the expectations for a successful hunt are important, this should be your destination of choice.
